Don’t Look Down
A Story of Evolution
Back To The Future

Emma's pointed out today that my posts are related to the same thing in one way or another. Its time for a change.
I've been thinking about what I want to do after high school and what I want to go to college for. I'm not one of those people that just wait for the time to decide. I like to plan before hand and be ready for when everything gets thrown at me. I want to catch it and throw it back, not get hit in the head. Its stupid because I already knew what I wanted to do. I've wanted it since the 2nd grade after I first watched Jurassic Park. I just feel like its not going to be possible. Its just a matter of, would I be able to get in to college as a film major? That's only half of it. Getting in to the business comes right off of college. Unless you are like, a god-send, shitty school = shitty career liftoff. It would be nearly impossible to actually make your way from a low-end school to big-budget film industry.
Its one of those fields that isn't widely offered in high school so there isn't much experiance to have besides on your own time. There aren't any film-based courses at school other than video production...and I already know how to do the majority of what they do. Like, the whole, blue screen, special effects, audio/video editing. I can already do that. I've known how to work that shit. Even if I wanted to take that class, I would have to wait till senior year because my only choice would be to drop chorus and that isn't happening.
I need my electronics. I've been staring down a specific camera, Mac and Final Cut Studio since the 7th grade.
I need to get in to a good school. I need the grades. I'm working harder than ever this semester.
